Fall Feasting and Frolic

Sep 22nd, 2013 by kris | 0

Come to Aptos and Santa Cruz this Fall. Visit Sand Rock Farm and enjoy our bounty as we harvest grapes, apples, pears, figs and still plenty of raspberries from our orchard.

We showcase fruit in our breakfast selections, and will be happy to give you a carton to pick ripe fruit for your own enjoyment. We can even loan you a shovel to dig up a raspberry bush or two and a pot to take them home to your garden, if you wish. These are fabulous berries that produce all summer through the fall till the first heavy rain.
Fall has arrived! Not only does it bring with it the best weather of the year, but, tasty and fun activities.

Restaurant Week in Santa Cruz, October 2-9, a new annual tradition includes 32 local restaurants offering a three course pri fixe dinner for $25. Menus will be shown on the website: It is an opportunity to try new and old favorites.

Open Studios,, the first three weekends of October offers work from 300 local artists for locals and visitors alike to enjoy and purchase.

Tours of Elkhorn Slough, are held every Saturday and Sunday through five miles of woodlands, tidal creeks and freshwater marshes. This is a real birding sanctuary and not to be missed!
