Sand Rock Farm is private, peaceful, and rural, yet close to everything - beaches, mountain biking, redwood forests, wineries, restaurants, golf courses and so much more!   Rooms have plentiful natural light from windows overlooking gardens and trees.  Each room is furnished with a Jacuzzi tub (all of those are indoor except the Hidden Garden Suite, which has an outdoor Jacuzzi), electric fireplace, television, WiFi, towels, hand soap, lotion, shampoo/body wash, conditioner, and a hair dryer.  As a guest at Sand Rock Farm, you will wake up to chirping birds and the scent of eucalyptus trees.  Start your day with a hot tea or a cup of coffee and a morning stroll on the nature trail.  You may see turkey, fox, deer, quail, hummingbirds, lizards and other wildlife among the canopy of trees.  Enjoy an afternoon nap in the reading porch and cap off the day around the fire pit on the deck, followed by a soak in your private Jacuzzi tub.

  • There are five suites which range in price from $225/night to $325/night (based on double-occupancy) depending upon length of stay, seasonality and weekday or weekend booking.  All rooms are the same price and each is unique and lovely in its own way.  The Sun Porch Suite can accommodate two additional guests, the Hidden Garden Suite can accommodate four additional guests, and the Honeycomb Suite can accommodate two additional guests.  Additional guests are $50 each per night.
  • Check in is at 3:00pm or later and check out is by 11:00am.
  • Guests have access to a full kitchen where they may store and heat up food.  Coffee and tea are available 24/7.
  • Pets are allowed in the rooms with direct outdoor access, which are the Hidden Garden Suite and the Sun Porch Suite.  There is a $50 flat fee per stay per pet.  Pets cannot be left unattended in the rooms and guests must agree to the pet policies.
  • No smoking or vaping inside or on the deck, porch or patio.  There is an outdoor smoking area a short distance from the house.
  • To preserve the privacy of other guests, owners and caretaker, access to the property is reserved for lodging guests only.

The Hidden Garden Suite at Sand Rock Farm is a large, private bedroom with its own entrance, two queen beds, a sofa bed, a full bathroom with step-in shower, an electric fireplace, a private, a television, a and a private, outdoor Jacuzzi, and a private outdoor picnic table and seating area.  Windows on three sides of the room look out onto gardens and trees.  Guests are welcome to walk around the property and enjoy the many gardens and paths as well as the shared deck and fire pit.
The Hidden Garden Suite accommodates up to six guests, but is really best suited to four or fewer.  One well-behaved dog is allowed in this room, which has direct access outside.  There is a $50 fee per pet per stay.
The Sun Porch Suite below, is a beautiful, spacious room with a private entrance and porch.  It has a comfortable king sized bed and a sleeper-sofa, a television,  an electric fireplace, a full bathroom with step-in shower and a two-person Jacuzzi tub. Guests access this room via a private outdoor porch on the back side of the house.  This room is best for two guests but can accommodate up to four.  A well-behaved dog is allowed in this room, which has direct access outside.  There is a $50 fee per pet per stay.
The Honeycomb Suite below, has a comfortable queen sized bed and optional sleeper-sofa, a walk-in shower in the bathroom, a recessed, two-person Jacuzzi tub in the room, and a television.  It is one of just three rooms upstairs and is a quiet, peaceful location to retreat and relax.  Windows on three sides look out over beautiful gardens and a massive, old-growth redwood tree.  Access to the Honeycomb Suite is via the French doors on the deck, through the main house and up the stairs.  Guests of the Hidden Garden Suite have access to the common areas of the house including the living room, dining room, reading porch, deck and fire pit area.  This room accommodates up to four guests.  No pets.
The Morning Glory Suite below, is an upstairs room with a comfortable queen sized bed, a two-person Jacuzzi tub in the room, a full bathroom with walk-in shower, a television, electric fireplace, and a desk.  It is one of just three rooms upstairs and is a quiet, peaceful location to retreat and relax.  Windows on two sides look out over beautiful gardens and a massive, old-growth redwood tree.  Access to the Morning Glory Suite is via the French doors on the deck, through the main house and up the stairs.  Two guests maximum.  No pets.
The Eva's Garden Suite below, has a comfortable queen sized bed, a step-in shower/Jacuzzi tub in the full bathroom, an electric fireplace, a loveseat, and a television.  It is one of just three rooms upstairs and is a quiet, peaceful location to retreat and relax.  Windows on two sides look out over beautiful gardens.  Access to the Eva's Garden Suite is via the French doors on the deck, through the main house and up the stairs.  Guests also have access to the common areas including the living room, dining room, reading porch, deck and fire pit.  Two guests max.  No pets.
